Bet you can't guess which one I am...
I didn't blog last week. The embarrassment was too much to bare. Work got in the way of running. I ran 5 miles during the week and 11 miles on Saturday. Come to find out, the training group didn't do so great on Saturday either. Too damn hot.
This week I did a little better. I did 14 miles, primarily on a treadmill (ughh!) during the week and finished just over 17 miles today. Not the full 20 I had expected, but its done and in 3 hours. I am proud of 3 hours, although the rest of the training group would probably be disgusted with this time. I am opting for the tortoise route. For me its not about speed, its about endurance, right Sam? Actually, for me its about falling across that 26.2 marker line on October 12. Or being dragged over it handcuffed to my devoted trainer...
So, I'm not my sarcastic self this week. To be quite honest, I'm exhausted. Between trying to get my office in running order before school starts, and the girls, and the house and the husband (and his work) and running and preparing for grad school and getting some needed continuing education and.... well all you women reading know what I'm talking about. But I'm gonna blame it on my newly diagnosed anemia (courtesy of running). That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh Andrea! Well, I hope things slow down a bit, and speed up a bit for that matter. Good luck with school starting! Can't wait to hear how that goes! Talk to you soon!
